Long Range Hunter Course - Shooting School

What to Expect:

The goal of this Long Range hunter course is to improve your ability as a hunter and shooter to ensure that when your next trophy opportunity presents itself you will have the skills and confidence to make a clean ethical harvest. This course will be beneficial to the beginner hunter as well as the most experienced hunter.

Topics Covered:

Ballistic solutions: Kestrel, Ballistic Turrets, Range Finding optics/binoculars, ballistic apps, dope cards, etc.
Rifle Truing
Proper Technique and shooting fundamentals
Target Acquisition and reference
Glassing and ranging techniques
Shooting positions
Gear

Overview:

Hunters will arrive the afternoon/evening the day before their 2 day class. Each guest will be greeted by the friendly and professional staff at the Harteis Ranch. We will sit down to a nice dinner and discuss the topics of the course and your goals as an individual hunter.

Day One:

8:00 am - Breakfast
9:00-11:00 Classroom - Ballistic solutions, shooting fundamentals, positioning
11:00-1:00 Truing Range - Zeroing and truing your rifle
1:00-2:00 - Lunch
2:00-6:00 Hunter course Intro- Target acquisition, shooting positions, gear, glassing and ranging techniques.
7:00 - Dinner

Day Two:

Cost $4000.00 per person and includes the following:

All 6.5 Creedmoor ammo if you choose to use our H.S. Precision Rifles
Lodging at the Harteis Ranch
All meals prepared by Chef Art
World Class instructors
First Class Staff
All inclusive upon arrival.
